Whether your congregational team is two or ten, you are invited to join us for a night of advocacy and action! Together we'll fuse a few holiday traditions like cookie decorating and caroling with the important work of stopping the repeal of Oregon's sanctuary law (IP22), ensuring healthcare coverage for all kids (Measure 101), and passing a Clean Dream Act. It is sure to be a lively, fun, and meaningful evening!
Please RSVP here to let us know if you can make it.
What is Congregations Connect?
A series of 3 gatherings for congregational teams of 2-7 people to deepen cross-congregational relationships and strengthen our interfaith movement community and capacity.
Each Connect! gathering will have time for relationship building, 1:1 conversations, team updates and report backs, troubleshooting, and opening and closing spiritual reflections. Connect! gatherings will happen on the following days and be hosted at different congregations throughout the city (exact locations TBD).
We encourage teams to commit to, RSVP for, and attend all 3 Connect! gatherings, but it’s not a requirement. The only requirement is that you attend as a team: 2-7 people from your congregation that are committed to organizing for immigrant justice within your own faith community.
