At the ICGP Spring Breakfast we will learn about the interfaith work of the Pastoral Services Department of our hosts at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. We will have the privilege of welcoming Rev. Jorge Rodriguez -- pastor of Las Naciones United Methodist Church in Hillsboro and a leader with the Interfaith Movement for Immigrant Justice, a nonprofit organization in relationship with over 125 diverse faith communities throughout Oregon and called by faith and conscience to respond actively and publicly to the suffering of immigrants in the United States, as our keynote speaker.
Amy Livingstone, of Sacred Art Studio, will guide us in creating a mandala for the healing of the ill, our community, and the earth.
This breakfast is a wonderful opportunity to network with interfaith groups in the Greater Portland area and develop and deepen our interfaith friendships and partnerships.
Breakfast will be provided as our hosts are generously catering the event. There will be vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and kosher/halal options available.
We hope you will join us! Please share the invitation with your communities. All are welcome.
The Breakfast will be held in the Stanley Shaffer Family Room, #21-23, located in the East Pavilion of Providence St. Vincent Medical Center
