IMIrJ march for immigrant rights

MISSION STATEMENT

We are a coalition of individuals, faith leaders and diverse faith communities called by our conscience to respond actively and publicly to the suffering of our immigrant brothers and sisters in the U.S. Through advocacy and outreach, we educate the community about the injustices current immigration policies inflict on the entire community and we provide real opportunities to take action for change. Just as we open our hearts to provide welcome and accompaniment to people facing persecution and oppression, we open our doors to offer Sanctuary for immigrants faced with family separation.

FUNDING:

IMIrJ's work plan and part-time Coordinator position is funded primarily by annual individual and faith community membership contributions. We also receive support via individual donations from appeal campaigns and special fundraising events (such as IMIrJ's annual dinner).

In addition, for 2016-2017, we are grateful to count on the financial support of the MRG Foundation and CPC UCC Justice & Witness Ministry Team.
